Ok but has no analyses of the solos. On the other hand it contains the tunes being used to improvise. On the Internet is a book by a Professor Fred Hess which explains Lester Young's techniques. This is much better but has only the solos. It is clearly a labour of love. I use it while listening to the recordings on Youtube.
Alot of these pieces are still way beyond me in terms of technichal ability. However, this is a welcome challenge and is what I would expect from an artists transcription of some of the works by the 'President' of tenor saxophonists. The transcriptions are very accurate and a joy to work through. Highly recommended.
