The version I purchased some years when I was playing quite seriously has now been up-dated; but if the 2000/2001 one is anything to go by, the up-dated version is essential for any golfer who plays competitively, and in particular in inter-club matches. It certainly helped our teams to win more than one match in the face of less well-informed challenges!

Every golfer should at least possess a copy of the current Rules of Golf but the rule book doesn't give much help, if any, on interpretation. All serious, and most less serious, golfers will find this book an invaluable guide to understanding how to apply the rules in those frequent peculiar circumstances that occur between tee and green. It's also a great tool for settling clubhouse arguments. It may not be a rivetting bedtime read for any but the die-hard enthusiast but it is a recommended item for the golfer's reference library.

This is the latest in the EGU's guide to solving arguments about the rules of golf.
You'll be able to win that fiver (or more!!) off your golf pro by referring him to the decisions here. All the decisions in this book will relate to events that are bound to happen to you one day.
They can help clarify the rules in a way that even the low handicapper can follow.

The Kindle edition is not up to date and does not include the recent decision which are included in the printed version of this book. The download is still the 2013 version, NOT the 2014-2015 version as shown in the picture. Don't waste your money on this edition until Amazon sort out their product description.

How on earth do you contact Kindle to tell them. I bought & paid for the 2014 - 2015 version and the old version downloaded. This deception

Have plaed golf for many years and thought I knew the rules quite well. However, a friend recommended this book and it's been facinating to dip into it when a question has arisen. If you are a keen golfer it's worth getting hold of.

This is a book which includes not only the rules of golf but decisions taken in particular circumstances during a round of golf. Essential for anyone who plays competitively or is looking to become a rules official.
