Perhaps his best book yet. Enjoyed immensely.

Charlie Brooker is like marmite. If you believed half the things he writes you would want to give up your belief in humanity. However he is also very funny. I enjoy his rants. Others won't.

Curmudgeonly misanthrope with an acid tongue and a beautiful turn of phrase. Very frequent laugh out loud moments as he deconstructs various media from a great height.

Great readings from a man who is known for the way he conjures up an image and the sheer honesty of what he says. A good read to get you though everyday life.

hilarious, laugh out loud book. a little dated - lots of references to media events and related from a few years ago, but, well worth the few quid it costs.

As with previous Charlie Brooker books a deight to read, either in one sitting or in toilet-seat sized chunks. This time not solely about mindless celebrity TV culture but also about more general everyday things to loathe. Get it.

Outstandingly grumpy Charlie Brooker at his best. The perfect antidote to uncontained joy and hope.

My son loves his books. I got to respect someone who gets paid big bucks to state the obvious:)
