In this book, Jessica is the most self-centered annoying little twerp that she's ever been. I'll tell you why.
First of all, Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield are twin sisters. They are supposed to love each other, right? WRONG!!! What really appalls me about Jessica is the casual way in which she uses Elizabeth. For instance, in this book, Jessica had no regard for Elizabeth's feelings. She didn't have any regrets about the fact that she broke up Enid and Ronnie, and Elizabeth and Enid. She just let Enid go on thinking that it was Elizabeth who had betrayed her. Secondly, I didn't like the fact that she thinks she can have anyone or anything that she wants. And use them. In this book, Jessica has her sights set on the queen's crown and Bruce Patman. She uses Elizabeth, Enid, Ronnie and a letter of Enid's to get the crown. I don't know why she bothers with Bruce. Thirdly, I don't like her attitude. She breezes in, all excited one minute and then comes flying back in again. I just find it annoying.
Well, that's all, I guess.
