Joanne Harris is one of my favourite authors. I don't usually like short stories but I really enjoyed these. I love the way she writes and wish I had an ounce of her creativity! Would recommend

Short stories by one of my favourite authors. I thought it would be great to read when travelling, but I kept missing my stop!

Anyone who knows Joanne Harris' work will be surprised and delighted at this collection of short stories. Unlike her other books which cannot be put down once you have started, this can be dipped into, read, chewed over and left for another time without loosing the thread.

Good book, some amazing stories and some, well, felt half-hearted. Loved the hope and faith tales, the level x was chilling and well thought out, the mad actor story really got me thinking but my favourite was the story about the lady who got addicted to food. Would really like a whole book! As a relatively young reader with a mature reading age, I would recommend this to most people as it is a very easy read. Not her best, but good non the less. Especially loved the dark tales!

Very eclectic mix of stories. All different yet all intermingled with one another. A good read.
I want to read the other collection of stories.

Yet another "must read" by Joanne Harris. A book of short stories. This was bought as a Christmas present for my daughter who loves it.

What an imagination she has. I love the characters she creates. They stay with you long after you've put the book down.

A great book for holiday reading, with stories that take the reader through a variety of emotions - and the fabulous Faith and Hope.

Rather good, surprisingly dark at times!
