i thought this book was good! In the begining, it was a little boring. I thought that it waslike every other boy, where a woman messes with man. But in the last 200 pages it gets good, i mean real good....i wont skip pages. I thought he bought the book to life, the plot thickens, it becomes a mystery on some character roles...i just wished that Billie aka Ducati would have hooked up with Raheem, that would have been cool.....But it was a worth while book. I also think that Dickey could have shed some light on Destiny in the end. How she ended up in Juvenile, but we know how, but i wanted to know how she got caught or soemthing......i think that from experince of reading all of eric jerome dickey book's they all start off slow and boring until the last bit of chapters, but he is still a good writer!

erick jerome dicky has got skills. a friend recommened this book to me i brought it on a saturday recieved it on a monday and finished it on a wednesday which having a son who is 11 months i dont have much time to read anymore, however from tusday night till early hours of the morning wednesday i finished the book.

most men could never write from a womans perspective but eric has got the emotoinal side of a woman to a T. the book initally i found hard to get into but once i passed the first few chapters i couldnt put it down. i love the way the characters all intwined with each other reminding me of how small the world really is. great read highly recommended.

Definitely one of my best reads this year EJD writes a book about Billy the 'girlfriend' of a weak man and Destiny, his daughter. Billy loves this man who is being manipulated by his soon to be ex-wife but she gets caught up in the wife and daughter's messed up lives. Every page is brilliantly written - I finished the book in three days it was that good -a definite must have!

The book is just so intersting in every way, I love the characters, the humour but also the sadness Eric experessed. Honestly when I saw the cover I was'nt sure but after reading the first chapter I couldnt put it down. When I finished the book all I could say was wow and It should be made into a movie, its that good people.

Am i the only one who found this book too graphic with the sex scenes? EJD is a good writer who does not need to spend so many pages deviating from the story line into soft porn. i didnt finish the book because i lost interest after a while
