I first read this book over 12 years ago and I find that it is as relevant now as it was then. Every aspect of electronics is covered from basic operation of the transistor to complex circuits in both the analogue and digital domain.
The books greatest value for me is the detail in which all circuits are described. They are in simple to breadboard or vero board in order to check out features highlighted in the text.
This is certainly an excellent source for anyone with a keen interest in electronics and a basic knowledge of electrical circuits (ohms law, cpacitance and inductance is assumed). A knowledge of the differential calculus will help with some steps of the theoretical discussions.
