This is a reasonable book. The premise is simple Monsieur lacroix's musing on fashion, picking out a common theme and showing how it is explored through the various couture houses. Regretfully it doesn't focus lacroix's work, in fact his couture doesn't feature very much. Also a note of caution is that at current prices this is so expensive for what it is since it is smaller than most art and fashion books and sadly the book ever so slightly lacks the quality lacroix deserves.

I love this book, it's gorgeous. Christian Lacroix's work is vast and varied, from classic to quirky styles, all of which are photographed beautifully in this book. It's packed full of high gloss colour photos and if you love textiles and fashion, you won't be sorry to add this to your collection.
