This book is one that you must have in your collection. Not only does it contain many great illusions and ideas, but it is one of the few books that actually tells you how to present yourself in front of an audience. It mixes the art of theatre with magic to brilliant effect!
This book is fantastic,it's a history lesson, pschology lesson and a damn fine read all in one book. I found this book to be easy and useful to use. There are ideas in this book that I already knew but refreshed and also made me look at them in a new way. Very good,I can't recommend it enough.
Being barely 60 pages in I'm staggered as to how thought provoking and informative this book is. Yes, many Illusions and small tricks are included, but they're insignificant compared to the guidance on performance. If you rehash work by others, or use out of the box tricks it's not a terribly useful book. However if you're an able illusionist with a desire to frame your self made effects, or elevate that single crowning creative glory, this book will give you what you need to formulate raw genius.
If you are a 'magician' who simply performs cheap vaudeville tricks and strikes childish 'ta dah' poses then this book is NOT for you. If you are an entertainer who acts out the part of a magician and you wish to raise your game to the level of Penn and Teller then read and learn! Nuff said!
