Good book for every mechanical engineering student in their first or second year.
Explanations/chapters are clear and the examples's layout is really appreciable. Nevertheless there are only a few solved questions, about 3-4 per notion. There are a lot more of unsolved question to practice with only the numerical answer, not the working out (shame in my opinion)
Not relevant to the higher levels than 2nd year B.Eng.

SUMMARY:Book having a lot of problems related to many fields of engineering.

i have solved nearly all texts on engineering mechanics ALONE, but i find it having the richest wealth of problems with great diversity. It makes your brain ready for facing any type of difficulty, so you have to keep all related "tools" with you. Most of the books have repeated problems, seem to be impressed with certain field of application, but here you will find the "BEST VARIETY" encompassing a number of real world problems.

Theory is clear and concise, presenting good understanding of fundamental laws but NOT THE BEST.
