Bought July 2012 for £15.38. Ouch!
Here's the one problem buying ebooks: you have no idea how much content you're buying. The subject matter on extra-solar planets isn't actually enough to fill a book yet, so what do you do? Add filler.
The first few chapters cover what you already know -- life is special, it requires water, etc. that's 20% of the book right there. Then we cover the various ways to discover extra-solar planets -- getting interesting! That's another 20%. Finally we get to the meat: super Earths. Cool! And then, just as it's getting interesting...
The End. A full 25% of the book is references and bibilography. This book is half the length of Stephen Hawking's "A Brief History of Time", which is a brief book! And then the last quarter is references. What a con!
