I almost cried when I read the first couple of chapters because I thought "Finally! Someone else understands what I'm feeling!" It reassured me that being anxious doesn't mean I'm crazy. Besides giving me hope that I can conquer my panic attacks, it gave me concrete means by which to achieve my goal, step by step. Since the author had experienced panic attacks himself, I felt a bond with him. It was like a friend giving me encouragement and guidance. It also made me feel better about myself, which is one of the steps in overcoming panic attacks. Now I just have to put his advice into practice!

Half way through reading this book I realised that I had read something similar and reading it was in fact a memory jogger. It worked for this guy big time but may not work for everyone. There is a book out there that will help you but you have to keep searching for it. Good luck to all who are suffering from this disorder hope you find peace

Good novel and easy to read. Has lots of information about anxiety and panic attacks and very helpful for research purposes.

This is a good book but I found it a little complicated. I do use some of the technics and some do work.
