Having read The Landscape of Love by Sally Beauman, I ordered, from AMAZON, a copy of The Sisters Mortland only to find that the two books are identical in content! Only the titles differ. As more than thirty days have elapsed I suppose there is no chance of a refund. I took delivery of this and another book just days before Easter but only got round to opening The Sisters Mortland this week. I feel really cheated and will think twice before ordering books from Amazon again and would advise others to beware.
Under whichever title, this is a good read. However it is very disappointing to note that, far from noting customers' comments, Amazon are positively encouraging people to buy this as a "perfect partner" for Landscape of Love.
I too bought both books (Landscape of Love and The Sisters Mortland) thinking them different - imagine how disappointing it is to take both books on holiday only to discover they are the same book but with different titles !! Could Amazon not check more thoroughly to stop this happening again?
