I bought this book back in October 2010 and I waited until April for it to arrive. How did I last? I enjoyed it so much I have just re-read all the earlier novels and without the long gaps in between reading you can really see the small details that have been carefully dropped in across them all coming together. Lily is a big favourite of mine - an anal retentive heroine who cuts tomatoes with mathematical precision and has a grandmother who turns into a tiger - you couldn't better it. This book really expands on the fae or sidhe who were introduced long ago in Night Season and it is good to see Benedict take centre stage. He reminds me a bit of Patricia Briggs' character Charles. I am so glad I have read this series - some years ago I delayed buying the second book of the series because of a bad Amazon review - I'm so glad I went ahead in the end.
If you like Patricia Briggs and Kelley Armstrong you'll like these.
