Interesting subject - not one I would of chosen myself.

This was picked by one of the ladies in my book club, she had been recommended it.
It made me mad most of the way through. I will admit I am not a great lover of gypsies. It reinforced why!!! Thieving, fighting, blood sports, child abuse, both physical and mental. Bullying, spitfulness, predujice....I could go on, but you must get the picture. The poor lad at the centre of this had to endure the most terrible treatment. To make matters worse, this is not fiction, it is a true story with names changed. I only felt better towards the end of the book, when the lad had escaped his torture and ended up living the life he wanted, learning to read and write, and enjoy his life.
