Having been hooked on BBC's 'Fake or Fortune' for the last couple of series I was pleased to find a book on a similar subject. A bit slow in parts, and with a predictable (but happy) ending, it was nevertheless a good read and kept me entertained.

This is the 2nd novel that I have read by Alan Titchmarsh. It was an easy read and I enjoyed it, but I did find it quite confusing. I really struggled with the art part of the book. I did not understand the parts about the fakes and original paintings.
I did enjoy the characters of the book and it certainly is a quick and easy read.
