The pictures are dreadful especially for a leading design and illustration and moving arts software provider. We who depend on our eyes needn't be abused by low-res pictures, tiny by half and bombarded by wordy text. I gave it away with the proviso, if you don't need classes you will now. That said, it answered a couple of questions and looked at a glance like a tidy effort for those coming to Premiere for either the first time or a refresher text.
This book has been very well thought out, and thoroughly covers all the major aspects of Premiere CC in a logical and progressive way. It's written so that a complete novice editor could be up and running within a few hours, but equally opens up a clear understanding of the more powerful and advanced features to an experienced FCP/Avid editor like myself.
I have not used the lessons supplied on the disc, instead working with the book on a live project, but can see how the hands on tutorials would help build confidence in those who are less experienced working with professional editing software.
I have worked professionally in editing and motion graphics for fifteen years, and would highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to get to grips with Adobe Premiere CC.
