I have had this course for a few years and have just watched it again today. Although slightly dated in some respects ( no mention of responsive design for starters), this is still a great overview of how to use HTML and CSS to design in the browser. It is worth sticking with the rather dry presentation and perhaps watching some parts a few times to make sure you don't miss anything. I think you will also want to do plenty of reading to back up what is covered here, I'm not sure exactly who the target audience for this course is !
The 'Designing with CSS for a Beautiful Web' is probably the single best DVD I ever bought (Casablanca aside) - it's the gift that keeps giving. The DVD is incredibly useful whether for a complete newbie web designer or helping to fill in a few gaps/tips & tricks for a web developer. Andy's style of presentation, rich content and passion for web design makes this an easy and enjoyable tutorial. I think Andy Clarke (Malarkey) may just be my digital hero!
