This book features a set of well organised, high quality articles. It covers a variety of sets of topics including natural rendering, lighting and alternative uses for the GPU.
It should be noted however, that this book is not totally easy reading, and the reader should have a good understanding of mathematics, and the maths used in gaming.
There is a good amount of source code, examples and pseudo code which allows the reader to really try things out for themselves and have a good understanding of WHY it works. The diagrams all have a consistant professional feel and are used well in the book.
