Yotsuba&! Vol 9 Remarkable, nine issues so far and no sign of fatigue. Kiyohiko Azuma is a gentle genius in his portrayal of the somewhat quirky people that surround Yotsuba, of course, Yotsuba herself is far from "normal". Reading these has made me remember the mavelous madness that is childhood, all the games and how every single day is fantastic. Simple things, such as stomping your rainboots in a puddle, dining out or finding a piece of corrugated cardboard can be utterly remarkable and very funny. And big things, such as finding the right berry gair (teddy bear, for the uninitiated) will make a day complete and happy. Each and every book of this series has been a delight - wholeheartedly recommended.
