This is a well presented summary of evidence collected by the author from interviews with a number of different specialists which gives weight to believing in a view of Jesus Christ exactly as presented in the Gospels. Many of the 'old chestnuts'which continue to be repeated by those with an atheistic agenda are covered in this book. Sadly I suspect that few of the latter are likely to read the book and that even if they did, prejudice would prevent them from balancing the arguments honestly using the material presented here. It is though a useful book for any christian who is unaware of the true background of facts and arguments and needs material for discussion with those with atheistic views.

I got this book as an already confirmed christian, but no doubt it would be great for anyone exploring the faith for the first time. It asks all the hard htting questions that turn people off christianity but never gives the cliche short answers that don't help you at all! the answers are detailed with good examples and experiences from those giving them. It's easy to read and understand and I always look forward to hearing new interpretations as i read through. You dont have to agree with everything that is said (it's interpretation) to appreciate this book, because it will make you think! I would reccommend this to people new to faith, questioning it for the first time, or to those already convinced and simply interested!!!
