I am well read in nutrition and alternative/integrative therapies, but this book was surprisingly new and informative

This is such an interesting and informative book. There is considerable illness in my wider family and consequently, for many years, I've been exploring nutrition in the form of diet and nutritional supplements, and exploring integrative and alternative approaches to therapy. But this book has taught me many, many things I did not previously know and, in that sense, it has been a real find. There is a need nowadays, as so well highlighted by this book, to find alternative or supplemental ways of thinking and acting because of the increasingly rigid confines of Western medicine. Suzanne writes in a very engaging way and her interviews with the relevant doctors are both sensitive and probing. Because it is so densely packed with very helpful information, I will need to re-read particular sections to fully absorb and synthesize them into my current knowledge of achieving and maintaining health and well-being. Thank you Suzanne.
