Greenwood's vast experience of ministry in episcopal churches is brough into focus for this book. His final post, returning to parish ministry before retirement is used to resource and illustrate this book. The wide use of Greenwood in conferences and seminars around the world means that he has been able to bring many new and exciting examples, references and illustrations to this latest of his books.
I really enjoyed reading this book by Robin Greenwood. I'm relatively new to the Church of England and so some of the theological books on offer can seem as though I'm wading through treacle. This book is completely the opposite thankfully! Robin writes in a open and engaging way about real, practical measures a church can take to become a journeying community-a church on the move. I think all those interested in the development of the Anglican Church in today's culture and society, whether clergy or licensed lay readers, staff or congregation would take a lot of useful ideas from this book.
