Mandatory handbook for experience strategists
on 23 April 2017
I've always been interested in using persuasive design techniques. There's two things that Nathalie does that others don't.
Firstly the practical interpretation of academic research studies. If you want to know the how-to then this book is for you. I've read a couple of interesting psychology books where I found them interesting with zero idea how to actually use that thinking in my day to day work.
Secondly the honestly around good and evil use of these techniques to manipulate, because with great power comes great responsibility... or something like that.
It covers an enormous amount and will certainly introduce you to techniques previously off-radar. That means it's kept snappy without tons of examples. One to keep near the desk.
