My misconception was that the book would list a number of misconceptions together with the truth about them,

What I got was a boring and self indulgent essay about why people have misconceptions.

Quote
"... Neil F. Comins has identified and classified, by origin and topic, over 1,700 commonly held misconceptions. Heavenly Errors provides access to all of them and explores many"

This isn't so. Barely a dozen are discussed. And I certainly did not find access to the rest. I would have been happy with the busting of just 100 myths.
