This book is very well written and very informative. There are links in each chapter to relevant webpages; summaries of key points; clinical focuses(to illustrate how recommendations work) and frequent use of tables, along with a summary at the end of each chapter.

Although written with a Nursing focus, Price and McNeilly place great focus on the importance of an Inter-disciplinary team approach and the importance of collaborative working, with sharing of information paramount.
I would recommend this book to any professional from healthcare, education, social care, voluntary organisations, working with children and young people (and their families)who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. It is an easily read book, with specific topics easily referenced.
