Wonderful insights into a subject that has been in the background of many minds for some time. Tracing thoughts of 'salvation for all' from early church to modern era, this book is an honest thought provoking reflection suggesting that humanity has been far to concerned with the negative messages of eternal damnation. Here we have an opportunity to reflect on the eternal love of God for his people which is the true message of Christianity.
'All shall be well: Explorations in Universal Salvation and Christian Theology, from Origen to Moltmann is an essential text to get to grips with the journey of the idea of universal salvation from early in the life of the Church to current thinkers.
This book certainly convinces me of the resilience of the idea of Universal Salvation and the value of its cause. It admirably deals with the subject through the opinions of great Christian thinkers and what can be deduced from their writings.
It is an excellent and timely study!
