I was impressed by the ease at which Nick Hanley manages to put across subjects, as I have found some of his other texts overly complicated and academic. This book would be relevant for any undergraduate students looking for an introduction for an Environmental Economics course. It's well referenced and up-to-date with a sound basis for those who haven't studied Economics at A-level (or similar). It's useful as an introduction but those looking for more depth are unlikely to be satisfied with this text.
