Cannot be referenced in an university essay
on 30 September 2017
Nowhere on the ad it says that this is a book printed and published by Amazon. This has important implications for higher education students - who, incidentally, are the target audience of this book, because, really, who is going to buy Machiavelli's Discourses unless they are at university?
A student CANNOT reference this book in an essay. Being published by Amazon, this book has no serious publisher (the University of Chicago is one), no address for the publisher, no date of publishing, NO PAGE NUMBERS, thus half the information a student is supposed to insert in her essay's reference is lacking . Moreover, there is no Introduction to the book, which is needed for students to learn about the book's context. The book consists only in the text of Machiavelli, which then there is no point paying for since it can easily be found on the Internet.
In conclusion, a USELESS product for any student (aka, 90% of the users who might have an interest in buying this book).
