This book was bought on a whim for our 5yr old. What a hit it has turned out to be! We read the story and he reads the speech bubbles. 'The grass is always greener' is the basic premise and it is told with humour, much alliteration and detailed illustrations. It is the first we have read in the series and I guarantee more will be appearing in this house at Christmas.

This is a humorous story of a boy who thinks 'the grass is greener' everywhere else, only to find he's best off in his own life. Beautifully and concisely written, with illustrations packed with endearing detail, warm and witty observation, and delightful humour. An absolute winner.

These books are timeless and very good for picking up new vocabulary. They are especially useful for children with esol.

Poor grammatically, numerous spelling mistakes, suspect inferences (...Bishop's boy...), inaccuracies... Thorough proof reading, careful editting and reprinting required.
