Awful cut down version of the real thing
on 29 June 2015
This is a con, and I wish Amazon had made it clearer, that this book is not Daphne Du Maurier's glorious Rebecca, but a badly edited version, which runs to about 100 pages. Not realizing this, I downloaded it to my Kindle. I'd read it before, but about 30 years ago. As I read, I began to think I must have been nuts to love this story, as it was so badly written. After a few pages I gave up, and went online to check other reviews. That's when I discovered what this version actually is. Can't imagine what the market for this is, but whoever it's for it's an insult to a brilliant writer. If you love Daphne Du Maurier, don't buy this.
