That is a fantastic book, the author was very maligned, but it is so unfair, at least in this book, at the beginning of the book it is not so remarkable but as it progresses very interesting information is provided, although the subjects are not really new, the perspective presented add a lot to the table, I read many times about Bob Lazar, but Tim gave great feedback to his story and almost validate it for me, There is also a two impressive chapters on the cattle mutilation mystery, that are really complex and good. And at the end other very curious case. Tim Good is the sort of insider that put people to talk, and the stories that come up, at least on this book are quite reliable, although some are certainly misinformation, as you listen lots of them you can start to filter out some of them.

VINE VOICETOP 50 REVIEWERon 31 March 2010
This book was first published in the UK in 1991 under the title "Alien Liaison: The Ultimate Secret" and in 1993 in the USA under the title "Alien Contact." It remains a classic of the genre and essential reading for anyone interested in what the governments of the world know (especially the US Government) and apparently conceal about the ET issue.

By the time this book was published, Tim Good had been researching the UFO phenomenon for more than 30 years and had become well known following his unexpectedly successful 1988 best-seller "Above Top Secret". Here he extends the investigation into related areas of the phenomenon: the cattle mutilations of the 1970s and 1980s, the involvement of elements of the US government in allegedly covering up their possession of downed ET technology, detailed reports of the goings-on at Dreamland and other sites and the active debate about disclosure of the ET issue behind closed doors. There is a lot about the revelations of Bob Lazar, and about the goings-on in Puerto Rico.

One of many sobering facts uncovered by the author: the NORAD Unknown Track Reporting System recorded more than 7,000 objects over North America and the Greenland-Iceland Gap during the 19-year period 1971-1990. The US Air Force confirms these records do exist, but claims them to be exempt from FOIA disclosure on the grounds of "National Security." A mere five of the 7,000 were eventually released to Citizens Against UFO Secrecy, all heavily censored. The rest remain concealed and unavailable to the public.

If you have little acquaintance with what is known about the ET issue and is being concealed, if you have never heard of "Project Snowbird" or "The Cosmic Journey Project" then you need to read this book.

Tim Good is respected in the field and has the confidence of inside sources because he is careful with his evidence and completely free of BS and new-age agendas. He backs up his claims with extensive documented evidence and is very thorough. He maintains complete independence and is a genuine researcher of original material like no other.

Recommended.

This classic came out in 1991 in UK. Managed to get the book in 1996, And got it signed by man himselve in 1998, When he was promoting his new book at the time "Alien Base" at Dillions Bookstore in Glasgow, Scotland, UK. Highly recommended one to get on UFO Secrets.

Like all ufo/paranormal books this offers absolutely nothing other than stories, you would think that after the multitude of encounters, landings and other phenomena someone might have got one tiny piece of physical evidence, or at leat a photo that wasnt taken from 30 miles away and blurred.

The main gist of this book, that governments around the world are covering up alien contact, I find very implausible, because humans and by extension, governments, are incredibly stupid and incompetent, so keeping this kind of secret for 60 odd years is unlikely.

A large part of the book is taken up by cattle mutilations, which the author thinks is being carried out by aliens and/or an evil government cabal; this is the most ridiculous part of the whole idea. Even if we accept the premise that aliens would come all the way to earth to cut a cow up why leave the bodies on the ranches or arouse suspicion?! Dump it in a lake or use your alien laser telepathy or whatever to vaporise it!

The government doing it is even more insane, the idea being that they are testing chemical warfare products or something; which they could do on any number of animals, and actually do it in private by buying them perhaps? No, why not fly to a load of remote ranches, mutilate farmers livestock (which for some reason they cant source from anywhere else) and then leave the bodies for the farmers to find the next morning. Yeah right.

Then we have perhaps the most interesting part of the book, an account by a Bob Lazar who claims to have worked at Area 51 on alien spacecraft. Its a good story, but if we were able to use and replicate alien anti gravity technology I think a hell of a lot of people would be billionaires right now selling hoverboards and the like.

This ranks alongside the Von Daniken and Setchin, a money spinner for the gullible.
