A very good book about The Doctors early career and growing up in Tavullia in Italy.
His father Graziano very much influenced his decision to go racing from a young age.
He has become one of Italy's greatest motorcycle racers along with Giacomo Agostini.
A recommended read for any fans of MotoGP and Valentino Rossi.

Written some years ago now before some of his by now memorable races and incidents.... but it is all there in his own words how he feels he is the greatest, and has the chance to prove he is the greatest of all time (The G.O.A.T) a great read and some honest views on other riders and highs and lows of a life and the expectation of a rider with a massive talent, that in itself have labelled him with being the saviour of MotoGP, when WSB possible had as many followers, and there had been talk of only one series for the worlds best bikes and riders.

Fantastic read ! It's a great insight into the cut and thrust world of bike sport , however even for people who are not familiar with this hard world this is a great read , a story of how a young man , coming from a small Italian village has gone on to be one of the worlds most talented and best loved sportsman . Thankfully his long career has still not finished so hopefully he will eventually write a sequel in a few years time - I can't wait !!!

Words of one of the greatest exponents of modern motorcycling racing, telling of how he decided the challenge was better for him than the safe option.
As I followed the story unfolding from the newspapers and TV coverage, it is interesting to hear what was in Valentino's mind when he went to Yamaha.
Exhilarating yet understated, from a genius at moulding a racing motorcycle....
The rest is now history, and he is still writing it....there will be sequels...of that I have no doubt!

I bought this for my husband to read as Valentino Rossi is his 'hero'. He is about halfway through & is enjoying the book so far.

I bought this for my husband who was over the moon with it. He didn't know Vale had this book out, so it was all the better a present.

He recommends it highly and I've NEVER seen him read an autobiography so avidly, except Guy Martin's.
