Like all Michael Baigent's books this is very thought provoking. He marshals his arguments clearly and cogently. IF his conclusions are true it throws a whole new light on the events in the Holy Land at the beginning of the current era.

An intriguing account of the saga surrounding the story of the Dead Sea Scrolls, and really makes one wonder how the so called experts on the team got away with holding onto the information for so many years, while only admitting those of their choosing!!
Always enjoy reading Michael Baigent.

Extremely interesting book for anybody interested in the origin of monotheistic religions and in the Jesus mythology. Very well written. I recommend it highly.

Much as for all of this genre. A wild and weird toboggan ride but making some important assertion challenging the role of the Roman Church that should be widely pondered.
