This is a great little book. Using logic, the author shows how to use cause and effect to work out why the ball behaved as it did after the golfer struck it. Armed with this knowledge and a willingness to experiment a little, any golfer can improve their game.
If you want to understand the reasons for the kind of golf shots you hit, this book is a must. Lots has changed since it was written but the principles remain true and this makes them simple to understand. The slim volume sets out a clear and easy to follow description of swing line, swing plane and the types of shot which result from altering your setup and swing. This is the book for the thinking golfer. If you only ever read one golf book, make it this one.
Brilliant book and should be reintroduced back into print. It's all you need to know about hitting a golf ball. I revisited this book after a lay off from the game and it made a huge difference. I cannot recommend this book highly enough.
