A worthwhile book. Pronouns are very tricky and the exercises in this book are clear and straightforward - although occasionally the exercises seem to come just before the explanation - an unusual feature! They are not for the absolute beginner and are suitable for further practice and clarification.

Elsewhere it has been noted that the answers are not always correct. I have done half the book now and find there are a few mistakes, but these will not upset most readers, I think. An example of an error which springs to mind is the misuse of televisione to mean televisore in the answers. Irritating, maybe, but not life-threatening.

I have not looked at the preposition section yet.

This is a good Italian book, I found it useful for myself but not more for my students. Italian Pronouns are already hard for one Foreign student and if you check on the keys, there are constantly a lot of mistake. If you study by yourself, please don't loose your money!

The Practice Makes Perfect range is a very useful set of books for learning the nuts and bolts of a language.
The explanations are clear and graded sensibly. The exercises review the explanations in a very sensible and useful way.
Pretty well indispensable for learning any language.
