This book certainly IS NOT "How to do everything Adobe Acrobat X" since it almost completely omits scripting pdf with javascript.

However it is a wide compendium of stuff dealt with in a verbose but shallow manner. This is fine if you want to spend a couple of hours familiarising yourself with AcrobatX features and a bit of how Acrobat fits into the world. If you don't need to do anything beyond clicking menu options then this book is a good resource. Beyond this level the scope of the book ends abruptly. It is an in-depth catalogue of the Acrobat GUI.

Useful for teaching people not familiar with pdf how to use pdf based systems. Entirely useless as an aid to developing your own pdf based systems.

A bit long winded.
There is a wealth of information and for this reason I think the book would be easier to flick through rather than a kindle.
