The Blue Viking (Viking I)
Format: Mass Market Paperback|Change

on 16 September 2011
I loved this book! Considering the number of romance novels around this book was a surprise. The plot was very interesting, the characters well developed and hilarious! That was the thing I liked most, lots of humour without being silly. I loved both the hero and the heroine. And all the secondary characters are just delightful! The kid is very funny. It's possible to laugh and cry with the story. Even the sex scenes have humour which makes everything better. Just LOVED it! Highly recommended!

this was the first book i had read by sandra hill and is still my favourite. at first you might not like the hero very much as he is so vain and selfish, but he grows on you as the book progresses and you realise why he is so proud. the heroine was interesting and clever and i liked the character of the son and the manky cat really appealed to me

Rurik is the handsome, insufferable Viking with the blue zigzag, which must be removed before he can marry Theta. He must find Maire and get her to remove the spell she cast on him, but how to escape this new spell, when no spell was cast.

I wasn't sure at first wether i wanted to read this book because i didn't like this character in the Bewitched Viking. He back-handed the heroine Alinor which immediatley put me off him. I However did quite enjoy this book but did not like him as much as all the other hero's in the viking series.
