Generally a good book for newbies
on 2 April 2017
Generally a good book and easy to read although it was a bit repetitive. The last chapter was just a direct summary of previous points. I wasn't expecting to be blown away as there is only so much you can percieve from body language so no finite conclusions can ever be reached. The examples he used could easily have been fabricated.
Also at some parts, there were too many common sense examples or ones where I feel the wrong conclusion was reached I.e. "territorial display of arms in the plane" where the author claims the guy next to him was trying to take up most of the arm rest thus displaying his dominant behaviour and claiming territory. I think people who do that are just selfish douchebags who want to sit in comfort at the expense of others.
