Getting a succinct description of your proposal over to clients is often a challenge; particularly to do it one page. This book provides helpful examples - but also helps you face the stark realisation there are no shortcuts. You still need to do all of the preparation you would normally do, but then face the added complication of trying to keep your research and proposal short and to the point. This book helps you understand what you need to prioritise and how to do that.

Trying to get people, including myself, to have the discipline to express themselves concisely is a problem. The one page briefing or proposal imposes a good structure and a lot of discipline that road tests your thinking and makes you aware of whether your idea is a good one or not. I have used it with clients successfully but my own organisation prefers Powerpoint and expansive, discursive presentations. It is a good tool this and you can dip into it to get ideas.

Love this! Easy to read and digest. A must buy for revising your proposal writing or teaching you how to write one.
