Oh dear, it is alright, but just not a patch on her other books!

The charactures are not very well thought out, lacking in depth, just not up to par, it felt a bit rushed, which is a pity, nothing really new, almost an after thought this book.

What is it about?

A poor american doctor with a snub nose and not alot else going for him a bit on the wet side, his sometimes mentioned rabbit, who starts out with a big part that just vanishes after the 3 or 4th page, a potter (female) not well put together, who is a little bit drippy, bit of baggage that takes to long to explain, an strange father who punches doctor without even having a reason to punch him, a pretty trotted out formula of an ex-fiance turning up. So, really doctor and potter probably deserve each other.....

Not sure why they would even re-do this book, very poor - it almost feels like it was easy money to re-issue.

Thanksgiving is a pre-Plum romance by popular American author, Janet Evanovich. Megan Murphy is a potter who supplements her income dressed in period costume in her colonial home town. When she rescues a floppy-eared rabbit with strange appetites, its owner, paediatrician Patrick Hunter is entranced by this quirky redhead. But despite the attraction between them, neither wants to get involved: Megan is thrice-bitten and therefore involvement-shy; Pat is in no position to support a wife or the children he would love to eventually have. Sweet, sexy and funny, but just a touch too drawn out.

not her best but you can see the beginnings of a good writer. i feel that maybe the other reviewer was a bit harsh. not great chemistry between the two main characters and their desire for each other seems to really come out of nowhere!!! average effort, nice little read to pass an afternoon.

When Megan discovered a floppy-eared rabbit gnawing on the hem of her skirt, she meant to give his owner a piece of her mind - but Dr. Patrick Hunter was too attractive to stay mad at. Megan had one failed love, could the doctor who kissed her breathless help to heal her heart?

This book is what you expect Janet to give you - fast moving story line, love, lady with an attitude, gorgous man and a dog thrown in for good measure!
