Worked like a charm!

I cannot recommend this book highly enough! Our two and half year old went through a very unpleasant phase of stool-holding due to fear - awful for her and for everyone else as well! I bought this book out of sheer desperation and it has worked like an absolute charm! She is now greatly improved and I can confidently say that this book has helped her on the way. It is very engaging with all the different animals - lots and lots to talk about with your little one - as well as working in the concept of doing a poo in a very benign, non-scary and matter of fact way. Lifting the flaps adds to the entertainment value - we had a really good chuckle together whilst reading it and she requests it again and again! If you are having the same problem with your little one I recommend you try this book!!

Great for toilet training - everyone has to poop somewhere! Lift the flaps and discover where the animals do their poop!
25 August 2017We love this. We are slowly and gently introducing the concept of toilet training to my daughter. She loves reading this book and requested it multiple times in a row.
It's a helpful premise to show kids that everyone has to poop, and to discover where different types of animals do their poopies (and everyone loves a good flap-discovery!), culminating of course with a child doing their poopy in the toilet.

It's important to remember that every child is different so this may work great or may not work at all. For my daughter it did appear to be a fun read and help her understand the transition from nappy to toilet. However it still hasn't quite worked for us but I would still recommend this, my daughter is just a stubborn one.

This was week received by my 3yr old granddaughter. It is helping her come to terms with her natural body functions. Not instant, but it's definitely helping.
