NOT suitable for dyslexic readers
21 November 2018
Purchased for my 10 year old dyslexic child, as recommended in order to help with learning strategies for him. Sadly it is totally unsuitable because of the size of most of the text used but more specifically the font. It uses various sprawling, or squiggly font styles which make reading very very challenging for myself, let alone my dyslexic child who struggles with text anyway. I realise it's not sold as a book to aid dyslexics (& I strongly believe in the art of mind mapping for learning & revision) but honestly it is frustrating to read. I leafed through and quickly shut the book & am returning it. It hurts my eyes to try to navigate the pages, despite the colourful presentation. Text is too small & difficult to decipher.
