Typically enjoyable fare from the Cornwell factory. BC has invented yet another enjoyable character and a scenario which allows probably as many sequels as Sharpe enjoyed.

A good read... engaging and with some interesting implied information of the times.

Am a fan of this author, but was disappointed with this, un gripping mundane story, in fact didn't finish it .

A good holiday read. The ending was a bit obvious but still enjoyable

Not read a bad Bernard Cornwell book. Hope there are more books with these characters in.
