As you'd expect from Agatha Christie, there was a lot of suspense and red herrings until you finally got to the solution. Engaging characters and well read. Lovely night-time treat.

An easy read, with likeable characters, and plenty of Christie aplomb! Tommy and Tuppence are particularly endearing and I can't wait to read more of their adventures.

If you like Agatha Christie you will enjoy this book. Set just after the first world war, it gives a snapshot of life if you are rich. Thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Yet another brilliant Agatha Christie. Read it years ago but didn't remember the outcome of the storyline so really enjoyed it yet again.

I hadn't read Agatha Christie's Tommy & Tuppence but wasn't sure of David Walliams portrayal of said Tommy. So, ordered Tbe Secret Adversary to see for myself; I was pleasantly surprised. I very much enjoyed the story; Agatha did tell a good tale with an easy style of writing & came to the happy conclusion, Tommy & Tuppence are well represented in this BBC drama. I might well go on & read their other adventures!

Dated but gives a nice insite into the time when it was written as well as being a good if rather light story

A great read.
This is the original story - not the TV version (although it has the TV version cover)

Written nearly 100 years ago! Dependable early Agatha Christie, with a gentle background of history.
