Amazon prices are increasing noticeably, and local dealers will offer this set at a substantially lower price.

HMV Tokyo sold it to me for only 10,416 yen. Express shipping was 3,000 yen for this big box. Much less overall than either Amazon UK, us, or de. Arrived today, is splendid. No info about remastering details, but it shows a 2014 copyright on all the music. So far, comparison with non-OIBP versions (like the 1961 Mozart symphonies) reveals brilliant audio improvement. Make sure you get the download of additional historical info mentioned on the last page of the booklet.

Thanks CVA. That seems like a good deal but just to clarify isn't there any import duty, tax etc to pay?

Never have been asked for that, after more than 250 purchases. But I am in the USA, so it may be different for the UK.

I recommend Presto Classics.
prestoclassical.co.uk
On their search bar, enter "Fricsay Orchestral"

I live in North America and they got it to me in five days for only $132.79 + $5 shipping

(I don't know what it costs in sterling + I don't pay VAT)
