Customer Review

Like me I’m sure your doing lots of research for a new shoe so here’s my experience of this pair.

I bought these with the aim of hiking up snowdon, I’m yet to go but so far my experience has given me complete confidence.

Fit: I have a wide foot and usally wear a uk7.5. Ordered an 8 as I wear with thick hiking socks and fits fine. Toe box is spacious and there is very good arch support. The heal is cupped well and does not lift, even in mud.

Waterproof: yes. Absolutely. Can not fault the goretex lining. The true test for waterproof shoes is walking acros a Dewey field or in long grass after rain. The uppers did not allow any moisture in over several hours.

Performance: I took these on a trip to Iceland where I was out in minus 10 for several hours in snow and ice. Did not get cold toes once in standard hiking socks. I also found the vibram sole grippy in the ice and stable in snow.

Verdict: I have no doubt these will last ages and I’m completely confident taking them up snowdon.

Hope this is useful
