Customer Review

As a fan of the old wii fit for the older wii and the fitness boxing for the switch, I decided to pick this up and I was disappointed how inaccessible this is for disabled players! Usually I always try and find way around things and make them work before leaving a review. I know this has a so called "assist mode" and a bad one at that that its still very limited to a point you barely do any exercises because 90% of the game is based on running and being paralysed from the waste down, this just felt pointless by being limited to pressing the ring in a out a few times that I wasn't even working up a sweat or getting any type of work out that it didn't even register on the heart rate monitor!

Yes you CAN assign specific work outs to buttons (except squat which I found odd)... BUT once these moves reach a cool down and you can't use anything else due to lack of ability, you're stuck and can't move on. The assist mode simply wasn't thought out well and badly put together.

There is some things I can't do in fitness boxing such as squats and I got around this by manipulating the controllers. But in this, it seems you can't manipulate the controllers and as a massive fan of Nintendo, they've pretty much snubbed disabled players and seem to think all their customers are able bodied. Nintendo.... please do better with ANY exercise games... everyone should be able to enjoy them, not just the able bodied.

Sent this back to amazon for a full refund.
