Hi,my dogs like this food so I thought I would take advantage of the Amazon subscription service and order this so that I get 3 bags every month. The first delivery arrived yesterday and while helping the driver unload the bags I noticed that one corner of one of the bags was taped up. I had a closer look and it became obvious that the bag had been chewed into by another animal probably a rodent and when they noticed this at the warehouse they chose to simply tape up the bag, they didn't think that it needed replacing because there might be some food missing or maybe the animal that had chewed into the bag might be carrying a disease that could be transmitted onto dogs.

The driver, who could barely speak English refused to take the bag back to start with, eventually after speaking to his supervisor over

I keep buying this because my dog loves this flavour and always clears his plate! The chunks are of a good size, perhaps too big for small dogs, but ideal for larger breeds like a Labrador. The bag is strong and doesn't tear easily, so there aren't any accidents with food spelling out over the floor. 17kg is a big bag and lasts a long while, even for big eaters. Even so, the product stays fresh and crunchy to the bottom of the bag. It takes a bit of heft to carry (especially if you have to collect from the depot) but represents very good value for money. I find Amazon does vary the price quite considerably but if you keep an eye on it, you can save £3-4 a time. Amazon regularly suggests I might buy some more, so when the price comes down to £8 I usually

The meat content is quite low in the Wagg dry mix but my dogs have high meat and protein intake from steamed chicken, eggs and fish, so I use this as a mix for their lunch with processed meat as it has good levels of vitamins, healthy additives and fibre (although also does have a decent level of protein in it too).

The Wagg range of dry mix is also the only one which both of my dogs will eat without being picky or any fuss and is easily their favourite - with most other brands they will just pick out their meat and chicken and leave the dry mix. One way I found around this was blending the biscuit into powder and mixing it with the meat, but it was a lot of effort and with Wagg I don't have to do that.

I had been getting this large 17kg bag

This brand of dog food represents real quality.

I must admit to being sceptical when a friend recommended James Wellbeloved as an option for my rescue dog who was suffering from an upset stomach. Only dog owners will understand the horror of trying to be a good citizen and "scoop the poop" when your dog is unwell. I noticed the difference with the first meal. And within a few days the change was phenomenal. Lovely (can you say that about dog poop?), firm stools, reduced smell and a happier dog.

It is true what they say - you are what you eat. And why should we treat our best friends to anything less than a balanced, healthy diet? This product provides true nutrition for your dog instead of just filling him up with bulky but empty calories.

I can't recommend highly enough; it is the only brand I buy

My dogs love this food. They maul it every time it's served and it's good quality and overall provides for them very well. Their coats look beautiful and shiny.

The only reason I can't give this five stars is because it smells like mackerel that has been left to sour on the bench overnight and every time I feed the dogs I have to hold my nose. Tried to talk to someone while the dogs were eating and physically gagged.

I have a sensitive sense of smell but no one else can stand it either. The dogs don't smell though which is good but the bowls go straight in the dishwasher.

I have a 1.5 year old lab and we have fed her James Wellbeloved right from the start. We have been very happy with it up until now. We got about halfway through a 15kg and then started to find the odd dead fly in the food.

My wife and I are very meticulous in closing the bag so that it is sealed, so the poor kids got a right earful from us about wastage and the poor dog getting ill. I have had to apologise to them today as when we were tipping the rest of the food out (at least half), I noticed a rip in the bottom of the bag that had been POORLY repaired with sellotape!!

I would have preferred to find the hole with no repair as this would at least mean that the person that caused it may not have spotted it, but to deliver a

Having a large dog means having to buy large amounts of food.
So it’s handy for me that I can buy it in 14kg bags and have it delivered to my door, especially when the price is reasonable.
Being an all in one is also important for me as my dog has several digestive issues and let’s just say that a large dog with an upset stomach is never a fun thing to have to deal with at 3:30am.
Luckily dry food seems to keep him settled and since this is a full meal I don’t need to worry that he’s missing out on vital things.
I occasionally mix it with meat, if he’s having a good day, however it’s a safe go to for knowing I can leave this down for him and let him eat it at his leisure without it going off or turning rancid in warm weather.
Due to the size

Breeder had started my girl on this food so as not to upset her stomach I continued. I was planning to introduce Royal Cannin and swap as I’ve only ever trusted it before with my other dogs. However my girl likes this, she likes a little high quality meat mixed (just enough to coat kibble) she appears to be doing well on it, good stools, not gassey, coat and eyes look good and not hyper as not a ton of additives. Good priced decent food. Half the price of my favoured puppy food. I have actually put my fat lab on the light adult beta food too! Photo attached of Elsie the basset puppy ❤️

I've been feeding this to my various dogs for years with a few diversions into far more expensive and premium brands - feeling that I'm not doing my best by them - but they don't like change, so we return to this. I feed them no more in weight of this than I would of the more expensive brands, so there is no saving to be had on that side with the more expensive feeds. I have two Labradors - one and armchair soldier and the other a mildly mad fire-brand - and this food suits them both. The bag is easily recyclable where I live (important to me) whereas other brands' bags are not. Good for you, Purina. I love having it delivered to my door, although delivery to the cupboard in which it is kept would be great! Amazon seem, at last, to have

We have 4 dogs and they had all gone off of their previous dog food so we decided to try them on Bakers. (We crossed them over slowly by mixing their old food with Bakers until they were eating just Bakers, this avoids upset tummy's) the absolutely hoover this food up and there are never any bits left in the bowl. It is worth every penny because even though it is more expensive than our previous food, there is no waste.

My labrador was having fits quite regularly, we finally changed his food from Bakers to Skinners, the fits stopped immediately.
The only time he has ever had a fit since ( 2 years ago now) was after he stayed the night with someone.
It turned out he had been fed Bakers by the people he was staying with. I wouldn't write this if I were in any doubt, but the evidence is clear.
This dog food is not only poor quality, it is dangerous.

I have a greyhound whose farts can clear a room in 10 seconds. He was doing this all night long. We had our noses tucked into the neck of our jumpers most of the night. This dog was ripe and explosive!!! Tried several different brands of dog food and it made no difference. Next dog food on trial was Arden grange. This has definately made an improvement to his chemical agent guffs. Now he just rips the lining off our nasal passages 2 or 3 times a night as opposed to a sulphur fuelled airfreshener on full blast all evening.

I have two small breed dogs, one getting on in years and one that is a few years old. They couldn't be more different when it comes to dietary preferences and needs, so shopping for food takes a lot of hard work and research. I make changes in their diet every two years, so that they don't become bored or fussy with meals. New foods are slowly introduced to lower any digestive impact and so far this has worked for us wonderfully.

We have been very loyal to the Applaws brand of dog food for the current feeding cycle, with 75% protein. I don't feed my dogs a lot of wet because I want to avoid bad teeth and breath in old age, but I look for good protein content and less filler. Applaws was good mixed with another small breed variety, which has tiny kibbles that my Jack Russell appreciated.

Good quality food product. Disgusted at Amazon for hiking prices, especially for people who don't need "Prime" membership. Amazon loses most of my purchases now due to this. Go to Zooplus instead as it's much cheaper and you can get discount codes for Zooplus too. I paid £47.50 for 2 x 12KG bags.

Perfect for my working Cocker Spaniel.

No matter what food I pick up, whether it be Pedigree Chum, Bakers, Pets at Home brand, Royal Canine, Purina etc there is always someone who says "You shouldn't feed your dog that!". Everybody else is an expert and I have tried my dog with most of the above and his stomach would not settle.

The only reason I bought and tried Wagg is because there is a Cocker Spaniel on the packaging and it's the best food I've had the dog on. No issues with his stomach, he enjoys the food (I also mix in a little Chappie on occasion) and since feeding him it he seems to have gotten a shinier coat.

Paying just over £8 for 12kg of food is a no brainer when you will pay the same for a 2kg of Royal Canine or Purina.

I buy the 15k bags in most of the different flavours for my dog as she enjoys this and is able to tolerate it.
Being a rescue SBT (ex breeder), approx 8 or 9 years old, she hasn't had a fantastic start to her life sadly. However, she has a glossy coat, bright eyes, good digestion, is at the exact weight she should be for her breed and a lot of the things that you want in a dog, this food has definitely helped provide her with a lot of what she needs to get there (she is topped up with 1 can of wet a day also, has been a struggle but she got herself back there.)

I buy a bag between every 4-6 weeks and find it extremely good value for such a low price

I bought this as my dog has eaten Wagg Worker for the last few years. I recently tried another brand but she wouldn't touch it. So I ordered this and she is a happy dog again! This seems to be a newish Wagg product as I have not seen it before, but will definitely be buying again and dog will be happy! The kibbles are small compared to the other brand I tried recently and it may be she didn't like the taste, smell or texture of it (lamb, whereas she's always had Wagg chicken). Would recommend this Wagg product.

We have seen a really positive change in our French Bulldog since switching to this food. Like many Frenchies, he suffers from allergies and can have reactions to foods quite easily - such as runny stools and sometimes breaking out in hives. We opted to switch his food to a dry, hypoallergenic food having had him eating Lily's Kitchen for almost his whole life.

The main (almost instant) change was in his stools. Almost immediately firmer and smelt much better. His coat became glossier and his general well-being seemed to be 'perked up' somewhat. Secondly, the cost. We were spending close to £160 a month on 2* cans a day (he has a big appetite). We have since gotten through 1 1/2 of the 12.5KG bags since October (about £45 worth) in 3.5 months. It works out around £13 a month - almost £150 a month saving!!!

I now regard us as

I brought this as both my labs have skin complaints and was looking for a cheaper product as most of the well know named ones are double the price. The kibble is smaller for the dogs to eat which suits the smaller of the two dogs as she has had teeth complaints which make her mouth sore at times. The food is of good quality and they love it,have been using for a couple of months along side flax oil to keep there coats conditioned as the older of the two suffers more with flaky skin which has been ongoing since she was a pup(she's now 10) so have spent a lot of money on different brands of food,I find this seems to suit her better so am keeping them on it,so much cheaper for the two of them and delivered to the door making things so much easier, definatley would

I have bought this several times and after trying my dogs on other complete dog foods I will stick to this. I have a 6 year old pug and an 18 month old springador. The pug has a sensitive stomach and the springador is a fussy eater. Both wolf this down and seem to love it, they look in fantastic health, they both have glossy coats, so shiny we get comments on how good they look when we're out walking, they both have fantastic clean teeth, have lots of energy but none of the hyperactivity some gods give them and to put it politely their bowel habits are normal! I won't ever try another complete dog food, I can't recommend this highly enough and it's low price is a bonus, we use a bag approximately every three weeks

My dog loves this food & its mind on hos very sensitive stomach. He has had no gastro problems since i started him on this brand & im happy with the variety of flavours on offer.
My main concern with my most recent delivery however, is the completely unnecessary & wasteful packaging. I usually have my deliveries come in a grey sack & even a few times with just a sticker on the bag of food. Im happy with this, in fact, just the sticker would be sufficient. This delivery though, the packaging was excessive & unjustifiable. I understand & appreciate the sentiment of it & that the air bags are recyclable but there was 187 of them in the box that was already unnecessary.

We have been buying this brand more than 2 years. My dogs favourite is the Salmon one. Last time I orderd 2x12kg. When I opened the first package, I said to my Husband that this food looks and smells cheap and it’s definitely not Harrington quality. They must of unpacked it and filled it with a cheap, rubbish kind of dog food. Of course my dogs didn’t like it. I very regret that I didn’t send it back. But there is no exact seller, only selling under Amazon’s name. Hope I can warn everyone NOT to order from this seller.
I ordered a new package from a pet shop and I managed to compare the two type. I was 100% right. The size and the quality are very visible and the smell... I am attaching a photo. While I was writing this review my dog finished one of them. You can

I have 2 rescue dogs, a 5 year old gsd x collie who is prone to putting weight on and more recently we got a whippet x saluki pup who is now 10 months old and a bag of bones and energy. I had fed the gsd cross on cheap supermarket food as I didn't know any better and she seemed fine on it. Since we got the pup though, I suddenly had to wise up to what I was feeding them. Anything too meat rich gave the pup the squits, anything too cheap and full of maize and wheat made his coat start falling out!! Plus the older dog had started to pile on the pounds and just didn't look as healthy as she used to. After hours and hours of research and reviews, I settled on, and forked out for, James Wellbeloved. Both dogs seemed better on

The bag was very dusty and it had small holes all over it and the entire bag and food smelt like a toxic plastic chemical smell! My dog has been turning her nose up at it! Unusual for a lab!! So off too pets at home to buy something else! I am not blaming Skinners but Amazon for the possibility of seems to be storing it in bad hazardous conditions!! I always buy this food, it is very high quality and my dogs thrive on it. Amazon need to sort their packing out though, this arrived with no protective packing whatsoever, just a label stuck on the side of the bag, and a strip of “security” tape across the top. Extremely inadequate as the bag is made from what is essentially a thick paper, easily cut or torn, and susceptible to breakage if dropped. This is not a cheap purchase and I will certainly not buy it from Amazon again if this is the level of care taken with packing for transport.

The dogs love this food and happily tuck into their bowls when served. A good compliment to wet food or as training treats. No adverse reactions, easily digested. Although it could be considered quite pricey it has proven to be good value for money as the dogs always eat it and they seem to remain full for longer. Stores well and remains fresh if kept in an air tight container. One bag lasts two hounds one month when served with wet food twice a day. Have been buying this for several months now and can't imagine changing.

When we first got our Cavapoo puppy we fed him with standard puppy food from the supermarket, but he did not tolerate it well and had diarrhea for a few days. So, we decided to try Lily's Kitchen dog food. We already use this brand for our other dog a Cavalier who has anxiety issues, we give him Calm and Relaxed treats which reduce his anxiety.
After just one day of eating this puppy food, our puppy's diarrhea went away and he started to have regular and firm stools. I would highly recommend this food. Our puppy loves this food and we have had no issues with upset stomachs or diarrhea since using it.

I bought these after trying many different types of premium food for my two Labradors. They have typical Labrador appetites and one of my dogs struggles to keep her waistline slim! This food has been great. They really enjoy it (although they really would eat anything so that doesn't necessarily mean that it tastes good - although I'm sure it does!) Their coats look shiny and is in the best condition that it ever has been and they also have so much energy to enjoy their long daily walks. Plus my once portly Labrador is now looking lovely and trim and is maintaining her new figure well :)

Great dog food and the price being a lot less than local stores means it is excellent value for money.

My collie has always had Arden Grange as it gives him the required nutrition to keep him healthy. Since a leg injury whilst running, he has had to take it easy and to ensure he does not become overweight we have bought him the light version. He loves the taste just as he did the non light variety, but whilst having a more sedate lifestyle he is not putting on the pounds by having this version.

Great for his diet, poop is always solid and easy to clean up, and to add variety and mix it up, a splash of hot water really brings out the flavour and smell of this food.

My dog has been eating this food for a while, and its great for her sensitive Labrador tummy, It's really help her to lose weight too, shes now a trim athletic looking dog, this combined with more more walks has had her lose 5kg (16% of her original body weight) and now has a perfect body score. Her coats in great condition too, this is a great cheaper alternative to some of the other hypoallergenic dog food out there.

I believe that a dog eats when it's hungry (as long as she/he is healthy)...until my GSD.
She would not eat enough and was losing weight to something scary but there was nothing wrong with her according to the vet.
Having tried all sorts of foods I was quite sceptical with this product but bought it in the hopes of a miracle.

I'm extremely pleased to say that I've found my miracle.

She eats every meal without a fail and is gaining weight on a steady pace.

Thank you!

I love this product...or more to the point, both my dogs do. One is a small spaniel who is a very fussy eater but she tucks into this dried food with gusto. She has had bouts of itchy, sensitive skin in the past and this food is the very thing for helping that. Her dry skin/sore patches have totally gone and she is comfortable again. I doubted this at first and bought her a different food but switched back when she got itchy skin again. I should have taken note the first time! Especially as she never turns her nose up at this particular brand.
My other old dog really sees the benefit to his stiff joints with this food. His coat is glossy and he looks forward to walks...and dinner. He manages to stay reasonably slim too. Difficult now he has slowed down, but this food is certainly helping both

I have 3 greedy miniature schnauzers, the age range is 14 to 6 years. The older schnauzer has suffered with skin conditions for years which I have managed.

I saw this food on offer in my local supermarket and decided to give it a go. Three months later and my old girl is no longer itching, her skin is settled and hair hair actually has a shine on it. I have found her more active and less stiff. My other two are doing well on it too.

I won't change brands again because the results speak volumes for me.

I love the packaging too, it has a nice zip lock feature which keeps the food fresh and secure. 5 stars from me!

I recently changed my Pups food to this from a popular well known brand, that is royalty advised by professionals... I swapped because I found it gave our Pup a runny bum and was blocking glands.

I used to feed my previous rescue dog on this stuff and he loved it.

Needless to say it was a hit with our Pup too!
And the stools have become firmer and darker, winner winner chicken dinner...

I feel it gives dogs more energy and mobility too.

I checked analysis of this food online, it has lots of goodness and natural ingredients. (Unlike previous food - which I discovered is owned by Mars corporation)

Will definitely carry on from now on, best food on the market in my opinion.

Just hope the price stays reasonable with popularity

Recommended by my vet. Great for dogs with a sensitive stomach. Helps reduce foul gas. Maintains a good textured stool. Can help with sensitive skin. Good product at a great price.

My cockapoo had terrible problems as a pup with upset tummies and we found Barking Heads Salmon suited her, she is now 9 and had pancreatitis so we had to reduce the fat content in her diet. I bought these reluctantly to be honest I felt it was too cheap however my 2 dogs love them, I mean cry and dance at meal times which they have never done. It is funny to watch and as the biscuits are a reasonable size I can put a few in a bag for walks as a recall treat. So far no more flair ups either and I'm saving money so win win. I buy the wet food at the supermarket it is cheaper however the 15kg sacks are now on save and subscribe

Recommended by my vet, after one of my three babies became diabetic and another developed arthritis. All three have now reduced their weight and become more active with same portion sizes but fewer calories. Coats have also seem to be softer and have more shine to them.

Easy change over, no nasty or unpleasant toilet issues. Bargain price under subscribe save.

For many years I've had Jack Russells and fed all of them on Pedigree Small dog Chicken and Vegetables. They absolutely loved it. I used it as a mixer with wet meat and vegetables with no tummy problems at all. So many other brands seemed to give them the runs, so I stuck with Pedigree. I now have a very active rescue Yorkie who has the product every day with wet meat and vegetables. He spins around in circles waiting for his breakfast. He leaves his bowl shiney and clean, so I'm sure he loves it. pedigree is the best on the market. Some of the reviews say they are feeding puppies, I would feed puppy food not adult small dog food. Just a thought to help people with a new puppy. Pedigree is the best for my dogs, I

My puppy seemed to like it at first, but within a day his stools had went soft, and within a few days he had diorehea, it just did not agree with him! Had to change to a grain free food as this was much better for him and grain free is better for other dogs just in general.

I have a 7yr old GSD who has been fed on 'high end' dried dog food all her life. I decided to give Wagg a try and introduced it gradually over a period of 4 weeks, she has now been fed on Wagg for the last month and she is thriving on it. I was wary at first about going over to Wagg because of some the negative reviews but I have concluded that like humans it can be like Marmite you either love it or hate and its the same with dog food. In the past some of my dogs have turned their noses up on so called quality foods preferring cheaper brands instead. So don't be put off by the negative reviews its cheap enough to give it go.

Used to buy more expensive dry food, as our dog has had problems with other cheaper brands in the past. After reading reviews on here however, we thought we would try it. So glad we did. Our dog loves it, no problems with it at all. I just gradually introduced it by mixing small amounts in with his usual food.

My retired Guide dog of 13 years loves this as a mixer and on it's own. Have tried many brands but of them all he seems to enjoy this the most. He seems to have got his 'mojo' back since changing to this food. (Use as a mixer with tinned meat for first meal of day and alone for evening meal). Will continue to buy this now as it seems a winning formula.
