It's taken a long time for this third novella in the series to be published, but I really think it's the best of all. Once again, the story takes off running, and shows even greater imagination than the first two. There are exotic islands, strange religious cults, way-out technology, and an amazing denouement. The series has to be read in order, otherwise I suspect the reader will have to go and join Agatha Witchley where we first met her: in a secure location, wearing a straightjacket! There are elements in this tale which out-Bond Bond, and are both unbelievable and utterly gripping. It's impossible to describe, but totally addictive and utterly compelling.

My big grouse is that, although there aren't as many errors as there were in the 2 previous episodes, those that are there still irritate. This time, in addition to 'brail' for Braille'; 'scolding' for 'scalding'; 'Home Erectus', etc, there are several passages where, presumably, the author's imagination has outpaced his ability to get words on paper, so that clauses appear as sentences and, as such, don't make sense, while others are just badly constructed, and detract from this reader's enjoyment. Once again, a little more/ better proof reading would make all the difference - and to have simply added a link so that the reader can use a form to tell the author about typos is really not only lazy, but more than a little cheapskate, Mr Hunt!

Hidden beneath the streets of London lies the headquarters of a secret British intelligence agency tasked with the job of keeping dangerous knowledge from the public eye. In the first of this three part series of novellas a job confronts them beyond the ability of their present agents so one crazed little old lady secreted away in a maximum security mental institution wrapped in a straight jacket and dosed with drugs who also happens to be one of their most effective past operatives is let loose. Wasting no time Agatha Witchley gathers a crew almost as bent as she is and they proceed on a high speed scramble across continents pursuing being pursued by the bad guys and girls. Finally all the protagonists gather in this the third and final book of the series for a show down in this well written and charmingly eccentric tale. Ms. Witchly is an inspired lead drawn with humor and compassion by Stephen Hunt. Highly recommended.

Overall I enjoyed the full series I just felt that there was a rush in the last book to get to the finale. Otherwise I recommend reading the trilogy all at once.
